Games at a Glance
First off, we were pleasantly surprised with our initial foray into Mr Spin’s mobile domain. We immediately noted their refreshing lack of the repeated factory-built games other sites buy in from the big casino and slot developers. None of that here. Mr Spin is owned by Intouch, an independent casino designing company based in the UK who run four different casinos, all featuring lots of unique games designed and developed only by their in-house team. They’re all creative and fun and many offer a nice change of pace from the well-worn themes seen elsewhere.
We signed up on the app, but you can also sign up at mrspin.co.uk, if you think that is easier. Making an account was quick and easy, and we were ready to make our first deposit. But more on that in a bit. Let’s talk games!
We highly recommend Monkey Kong, inspired by the escapades of other oversized and very famous primates. The artwork is colourful, detailed and clever, but the real star of the show is the multiplier mini-game in which you spin a number, dice-like, to move your monkey along a series of catwalks in pursuit of saving your captured love interest, and hopefully avoiding enemies and pit falls along the way. You pick up multipliers as you go, but the biggest prizes obviously come if you’re lucky enough to make it all the way to the end.
Mr Spin is mostly slots based, with just the one Roulette classic casino game thrown in. We would like a bit more variety in the type of games on offer, but their Gold Roulette is a very solid game, with nice 3d graphics running smoothly on the iPhone 8 we were using to play it. Mr Spin Mobile Casino is also available on Android, for anyone who was wondering!
Cool Bonuses and Offers
New players to Mr Spin mobile casino can get up to 50 bonus spins to use on a random game. We span a wheel that randomly decided the size of our bonus and got 25 free spins to use on Reel Royalty, which in our opinion was one of the most polished and engaging slot games on the site, so we were more than happy. We managed to win a cheeky £15 that went straight into our cashable credit and could be withdrawn straight away. Nice one! Naturally, T&Cs will apply to all these bonuses so make sure you are familiar with these before you deposit.
Mr Spin mobile casino also match your initial deposit 100% with bonus credit (with a max of £100). All monetary bonuses have a 1x wager limit (not bad at all!) and a £50 withdraw limit.
Other loyalty and promotion bonuses include:
- Weekly loyalty bonuses sent via text
- Chances to win bonuses on Facebook
- Game of the Month bonuses on new releases
- Ad-hoc campaigns around Halloween, Christmas, etc.
- Referral bonuses
Lightning Fast Banking
That’s all well and good, but how are Mr Spin when it comes to the financial side of things?
Depositing was really quick and easy. Just tap ‘banking’ and select ‘deposit’ in the app. If you’re depositing by phone, the minimum is £3, and with everything else (bank card, PayPal, paysafecard or Skrill) the minimum is £5. It’s worth knowing that you’ll need to provide proof your phone bill has been paid when you come to withdraw if you deposit using your phone method.
You can withdraw to your bank account or to your Paypal or card account if you have previously deposited using these methods. Oh, and Mr Spin has a £3 fee for any withdrawals under £10.
One criticism is that Mr Spin mobile are a little slower on the withdrawal front than many other casinos. We waited for three working days before being asked for I.D. Once this was approved, it was another couple of days before we had the cash in our account. A little slow, but we recommend just being patient and the money will certainly arrive before too long. And make sure you send your ID using the ‘send i.d.’ option in-app.
Security and Responsible Gambling
You can rest assured that all your transactions and data are safe and secure with Mr Spin, as they use 256-bit TLSv1.2 digital encryption and promise never to share your information with third parties.
With all their games created in-house you might be worried they aren’t regulated under the same stringent rules as other gaming sites. But rest assured this is definitely not the case. After a quick check we saw that Mr Spin is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and their very high requirements. So all good there. You can also see the RTPs of each game in their descriptions.
Mr Spin is also GamCare certified meaning they have demonstrated a commitment to responsible gambling. This means that if you need them, Mr Spin has a number of responsible gambling tools you can use to keep your playing in control. These include session / deposit limits, cool-down periods, and self-exclusion. You can also exclude from all Intouch brands and any other operators signed up to GAMSTOP.
Customer Service
Mr Spin’s customer service team seemed helpful and chipper when we rang them. They have a 24/7 service so you can ring them at any time, with any issue you might have and they’ll be there to (hopefully) sort you out. We’re always a fan of a dedicated and helpful customer support service.
To reach them you can tap ‘support’ in app or call 01384 888102, text HELP to 89910, email [email protected]. They also have a live chat service which you can access online or in app.
In Summary…
Overall we think that Mr Spin offer a really strong mobile casino experience that competes on a level with some of the major players out there. We really like their unique games with really cool art work and clever twists on old formats. We hope they expand to offer a greater variety, but we can’t fault their existing content, and they seem to run a tight, responsible ship. We definitely think Mr Spin is worth you giving them a try!
